Doggy Daycare Policy
Dalwood Paws Retreat values a safe, inviting and enjoyable environment.​

All dogs must be vaccinated to at least a c5 level.

They must be wormed and ticked at least 14 days prior to their first day of daycare, this must be kept up to date as per treatment recommendations.

All dogs over the age of 12 months of age must be desexed.

Drop off is between 7:30am - 9am. Pick up is by 5:30pm. We reserve the right to turn away dogs that are dropped off late, as this has the potential to disrupt dogs that are in our care. A late fee of $15 per 15 minutes will be charged.

All dogs must be on a leash whilst entering and leaving the doggy daycare facility. This is to prevent any undue excitement or anxiety, and helps your dog ease into pick up and drop off.

We are a cage free doggy daycare. Dogs that are behaving aggressively will be separated and the owner will be contacted.

We accept Small, Medium and Large dogs.

There is a strict 24hr cancellation policy or no show policy. If you do not provide us with 24hr notice or fail to attend your booked day you will be charged full fee. If this is a regular occurrence your doggy daycare position may be cancelled.

Doggy Daycare Commitment
Dalwood Paws Retreat has a minimum of 1 day a week attendance commitment. This is due to dogs thriving on routine and structure. It also ensures that your furry friend feels safe and secure each time that they arrive to daycare. If you are travelling in the area and your dog attends doggy daycare regularly at an alternative place we may have the ability to accept casual care depending on space availability and behaviour assessment.
Initial Assessment
All dogs must undergo an initial assessment prior to starting daycare. Assessment cost is $30. This assessment will cover various factors to ensure your dog will gain the most out of our doggy daycare facility and ensure the safety of your own pet & other furry friends safety and enjoyment.
