Dog Grooming
Terms and Conditions
Vaccination & health:

The owner confirms that their pet is up to date on all vaccinations of at least a c5 level, in good health and free from contagious disease and illness. Evidence of this may be requested in certain circumstances.

The owner confirms they have notified the groomer of any contradictions.

The groomer reserves the right to refuse or stop the service at any given time if the pet's health or behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
Grooming process:

The owner understands and agrees that grooming services may include the use of grooming tools such as clippers, scissors, or any other necessary equipment.

Whilst the groomer takes utmost care, the client understand there is a minimal risk associated with grooming services such as cuts, nicks or skin irritation.
Matted coats:

The owner agrees to notify the groomer if their dog is matted.

The client understands that matted coats will result in an additional charge.

The owner understands and agrees that heavily matted coats may require shaving, additional grooming services or for the service to be forfeited.
Groomers discretion:

The owner understands and agrees that the groomer reserves the right to use their professional judgement and discretion in the grooming process to achieve the best results, considering the pets health, condition, temperament and style requested by the client.
Liability:

The owner agrees that the groomer and Dalwood Paws Retreat will not be held liable for any pre-existing or underlying conditions, accidents or injuries that may occur during the grooming process or as a result of the grooming service provided.
Payment & cancellations:

Payment for grooming services is due at the time of service.

The owner agrees to provide at least 24 hours cancellation or rescheduling notice. Failure to do so will result in charge of full fee.
